Conversation workouts – Sweating your way towards speaking fitness

Participants in this workshop will engage in a series of short, fast-paced speaking activities prompted by a free workout app or a web page. The session is aimed primarily, but not necessarily, at helping students preparing for Cambridge First and Advanced exams improve their fluency and develop an internal clock so they can use the time given for each task to the fullest.

Edmilson is a teacher, teacher trainer and materials designer. He has been involved with EFL for 30 years and currently works for B.A. English School in Goiânia, where he teaches advanced levels and preparation courses for international exams. Former president of Braz-Tesol Goiânia Chapter, he is now a board member of Braz-Tesol Teacher Development SIG. His interests include reading, writing, translating and singing opera.
