"Tell me and I'll forget". Is there such a thing as the ideal way to teach and learn vocabulary?

Learning vocabulary seems to be a controversial issue.Teachers and learners are always wondering what the most effective way to do this is. This workshop aims at brainstorming,discussing and presenting some ways of teaching and learning new words and expressions, giving participants the opportunity and tools to judge for themselves how to best go about it.

Karla Piccelli has been working as a teacher of English for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s in English , and a master’s degree in Education. She has a CEELT and COTE certificates. She is a qualified Cambridge teacher trainer and oral examiner for the YLE, KET, PET, FCE, CAE and CPE certificates.
